Last weekend marked our 2nd Shoe Care Event with HE Footwear. Folks brought grail pairs from their collections to talk about fit, upper materials and all of the small details that you find from brands like Clinch, Sagara, Flame Panda & John Lofgren. A couple were even kind enough to bring all sorts of beverages to try from local wineries and breweries.

Alden Indy Boots in Horween Brown Chromexcel. These boots have developed a beautiful patina over time and darkened really well. The 403/405 pattern was called the Indy boot after being made Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones. The story goes that Ford preferred to wear Alden’s over Red Wings, hence his preference for these while filming.
Eastman Leather Company Tanker Boot reproduction. Originally these were built for tank operators during World War 2. Designed to be easily slipped off incase of emergencies.
